I’ve been invited by Esther, the director of Oxfordshire Artweeks, to exhibit some work at The Jam Factory in Oxford in March/April 2014. I’ll be exhibiting alongside a variety of other artists working in different media all making work about / inspired by the local canals. So homework starts here…

Just heard about a brand new arts festival for Oxford launching in September 2014 showcasing the work of international contemporary photographers – sounds really promising!

Seeing Oxford in a Different Light
These photos were on display in the Shop at the Old Fire Station and as part of a Pop-Up exhibition at the Ashmolean (part of Exposed LiveFriday). They are double-exposure images taken using a single roll of medium format analogue film (12 shots), and aimed to capture the eclectic nature that makes up the city of Oxford – literally, using the camera to capture Oxford in a Different Light.
Lizzie Siddal
A theatre friend recently asked me if I knew anyone that might be interested in painting ‘half a Hunt’ for a scene in a play that he’s currently working on about the pre–Rapaelite muse Lizzie Siddal. I thought the prospect of the painting sounded like a good exercise in observation, so I agreed to do it myself. so, here’s ‘half a Hunt’ the original hangs in the Ashmolean.
